Regarding your question about the i-menu program for Windows: If i-menu is blocking the global CTRL+R hotkey and there is no setting within the i-menu application to disable or change this hotkey, you may need to look for updates or patches from the software provider that address this issue. Alternatively, you could contact the support team of the application for further assistance. If the application does not provide an option to modify the hotkey, you could consider using a third-party hotkey manager to reconfigure or override hotkeys globally, though this might require some advanced configuration.

Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a specific answer to your question regarding unlocking OSD on your AOC monitor model C27V1Q/WS. However, you can try the following steps:
Press and hold the single button on the monitor for a few seconds.
Check the monitor's user manual or the manufacturer's website for any specific instructions on OSD unlocking for your model.
If the issue persists, you may want to contact the AOC customer support for further assistance.
Just purchased an AOC monitor with installation CD included. The i-menu installation asks what language I prefer to set up, I choose English and after installation is done, I launch the i-menu program and it displays my monitor settings options in Chinese. Tried installing twice - the same result. Is the online downloading program faulty or should I try again? Can anyone assure me that the same thing won't happen?

It's possible to change language even if it's Chinese. I have experienced the same issue and managed to change language. Use the image below as a guidance. Basically, click the globe icon, then you have two options on the right. Click the drop-down icon from the first menu and choose English and that's it.
I've just set up a monitor, it works normally. I've downloaded and installed I-Menu, but when I open it, it seems to be flawed. It has empty little squares boxes instead of English letters. What can I do?

In order to fix the problem, remove the software from your computer (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) and run Glary Utilities to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system. After that, access the official web page, scroll down to Drivers / Manuals » IMenu section and download the version of the program specially designed for your monitor model. This should fix the issue. If not, try contacting AOC.
